Seedcamp – impressions

After intensive day in Warsaw at Seedcamp, we are very excited to implement new ideas form people that we have lucky to talk with to make TimeCamp a better application. We gain lot of recommendations & feedback like dealing with people concern about privacy, letting outsource the data storage and so on…  

Seedcamp is a good opportunity to rethink some ideas from a different points of view (we had talks with 17 IT professionalists), networking and find business partners.

SaaS – opportunity for frequent upgrades

Thanks to SaaS model our users don’t worry about updates. We can post small upgrades even every day, and users get them automaticaly. We think it’s very comfortable and will try to get from this fact as much as we can by releasing upgrades often.

Feature: Avarage time per shift

This feature is showing average time per shift for app/site detailed view for better understanding “time killers”. Log in and check this new feature! How to interpretate  it? If average time per shift for an application is very low (for example 30 sec.) you should consider to think about how you use this app and try to use application longer for one session.

Mini Seedcamp Warsaw

Seedcamp announced Seedcamp Warsaw finalists. We are very excited to be in the finalists list! 

Mini Seedcamp Warsaw is a one day event aiming to connect Europe’s start-up community. They will be bringing together 20 of the region’s best seed stage tech start-ups with experienced entrepreneurs, investors, and developers from Poland and all over Europe to participate in a day of intense mentoring, panel discussions and presentations at the super-cool Agora Center.

Hour View

We recently updated hour view. New design include:

• cell height is proportional to time, so it’s more intuitive to read,
• showing all breaks (idle time cell height is also proportional),
• background colors shows actually how productive application or site is (green colors means productive, red colors unproductive).

We are using cookies to track clicks (cookie period is 1 year). You can also use “affiliate code” field. It’s very simple because the only thing you should do, is tell your friend your affiliate ID. 2008 Sum Up

Is end of the year and very good time to sum up things. 2008 was a start year of TimeCamp.

Our user spend 15680 hour at the computer. 56% of time was Internet surfing. We gain our first customers.

We’ve been also working hard to improve TimeCamp. Here is a list of some major changes:

- Infrastucture enhancements to increase speed and reliability.

We are proud to announce that people can download TimeCamp Data Collector from hundreds of sites (like download.com or softpedia.com) and know how they spend their time.

TimeCamp Tip: TimeCamp users can see total number of shifts to an application (for selected time period, like 1 day) by clicking  “Apps & Sites” in the Dashboard.
