What is TimeCamp?

TimeCamp is an application that tracks in the background all activities done on the computer and helps the worker to understand his own usage of time at work as well as manage it. TimeCamp enables the user to count overwork hours and manage company's time sheet.

How does TimeCamp work?

Application installed on the computer gathers all data about actively used applications and visited websites. Every 5 minutes all data are sent to server, where after login in administrator panel you will be able to view ready reports on time spent behind the computer.

If there are multiple applications opened at the same time TimeCamp will learn which application is actually in use. TimeCamp will measure only the application that are actively used, not all applications that are opened.

What kind of data does TimeCamp gather?

TimeCamp gathers only the information necessary to manage professional time evidence: Window title, process name, time and operating system). We don't gather (and never will) the data from input devices such as keyboard, mouse, etc.

Is TimeCamp kind of Spyware application?

No, TimeCamp isn't Spyware type application, it does not gather data about user, but it helps to understand the time spent behind the computer and improve time management.

Is the application heavy for the computer and network?

TimeCamp on user end is a small application, that works in the background and it does not harm the computer. Every 5 minutes it sends some small amount of kb onto the server, It isn't heavy for the computer and network, even for the one with small capacity.

Does the application work when the computer is not connected to the internet?

Yes, the application stores all data. When the computer gets connected to the internet, application sends all stored data to the server.

Can I cancel the ow service at any time?

Yes, cancellation is free of charge and you can cancel any time.

How often data are updated?

Every 5 minutes. This means that you can see usage reports from any computer connected to the internet (i.e. at work)

Will I violate the workers' privacy if I will install TimeCamp?

No, you don't violate either to check what your worker is doing to accomplish goals. TimeCamp is not hidden application - it is visible in the task bar. Spyware is not equal to monitoring. You need to deserve 100% trust. The law allows monitoring the work on the computer during working hours
