Company hierarchy and groups

TimeCamp enables companies to recreate their organizational structure by adding groups which represent each of the company’s units. You are able to divide your employees into different teams, define some special settings for each of them and give them exact roles and permissions. Whenever you need, you can add new groups and assign people to them. What is more, if you decide to create smaller groups within the parental one, the child organizational units automatically inherit settings from their parental units.

User can divide employees into groups (organizational cells) and easily change their privileges by clicking on specific user and then picking the role.

To set groups, user need to open “Settings” then “Users & groups” and click on “+ADD A GROUP OR A DEPARTMENT”.

After creating a group or department, user can pick features in “Settings” which is next to the name of the group. TimeCamp offers features like: Computer Time – track computer activities, websites and applications usage, Time and Attendance – manage time and attendance data, record when employees start and stop work, Timesheets – track time against projects and tasks, integrate with popular project management tools, Invoicing – create invoices from timesheets, To-do list – simple, intuitive to-do list, create, delegate tasks, set due dates, Screenshots – see work-in-progress screenshots.

What is important: every unit can have its own settings and child organizational units automatically inherit settings from their parental units.
