To increase team’s productivity it would be good to know how much time they spend on singular activities. Asana integration with TimeCamp enables you to log hours or minutes for the whole project, each task or subtask. How is that possible? When you enable the integration, TimeCamp will import all of the assignments and categorize them the same way you have it done in Asana.
Note: to enable the integration you’ll need administrator’s privileges. To start the integration login to your TimeCamp account go to the Settings (1). Navigate to the Integrations bookmark (2).
Find Asana on the list of available addons and click on “Enable” button.
Click on the green “Enable the integration” button.
If you’re not logged into Asana, you’ll be redirected to login page and asked for a confirmation to enable the integration. Otherwise, your integration will proceed automatically.
Your next step will be choosing which of your workspaces should be synchronized to TimeCamp. Optionally, you can invite people assigned to workspaces.
TimeCamp will automatically import all of your projects and tasks. From now on you will be able to track the time spent on each assignment. Go to Project Management page. Note that selected workspaces and tasks are already there, under the main project simply called “Asana”. Workspaces are imported as subtasks of this project. You can now track time using TimeCamp’s timesheets, or using our mobile or desktop applications.
If you’re using Google Chrome, you can install our plugin to track time spent on tasks directly in Asana.
