TimeCamp offers a rich Azure DevOps integration, allowing you to track time on your stories, issues, bugs, and other programming stuff.

As of July 2018, we’ve added an option to track time to tasks within Azure DevOps.

You can find our “Timecamp Time Tracking” application on the Azure DevOps marketplace. Simply search for ‘timecamp’ and click on the results. You can also use this direct link.

Next, click on the green Get it free button.

Select the organization you wish to install the plugin for and click on the Install button.

After the instalation is finished, you can Proceed to organization to start tracking your time.

After the installation is completed, you can navigate to your desired Story to start tracking time. While using it for the first time, you might need to run some additional configuration.
Open the item you wish to track time on and click on the Connect to TimeCamp button.

If you’re not logged into your TimeCamp account on, you’ll be asked to do so. After providing your TimeCamp credentials you’ll need to grant TimeCamp access to your VSTS account. Click on the blue Accept button. If you haven’t created the integration within TimeCamp before, it’ll automatically be created for you at this point.

IMPORTANT: Please note that before you’ll be able to track time, you’ll need to choose projects you wish to import into TimeCamp as described here.

Azure DevOps will automatically connect to the account you’re logged in on

Once the installation is completed and the integration enabled, you’ll be able to add time to a task manually (1) or start a timer (2) from within Azure DevOps.

Your Azure DevOps plugin and TimeCamp timesheets will synchronize in a real time.
