If you already have our plugin, update it in the Connected apps of the Settings in your Atlassian account, or just request the update from your administrator.
Below you can find how to enable the integration:
To start the integration, log in to your TimeCamp account go to Settings and navigate to the Integrations bookmark.
Locate Slack on the list of available addons and click the Enable button.
Click the Add to Slack button.
You’ll be redirected Slack and asked to authorize TimeCamp in order to access data from your account. You can decide which channels conversations will allow TimeCamp's notifications. To continue, click on the green Authorize button.
You’ll be redirected back to TimeCamp. All your channels will automatically be imported as tasks for you to track time to them.
/timecamp start [note]
Starts the timer with an optional note. Example message: /timecamp start My pretty note… Response message: Timer started at 13:34
/timecamp stop [note]
Stops the timer. Preserves start timer note. Example: /timecamp stop …ends like this! Response: Timer stopped. It was running for 3s. Response: Timer is not running. Do you want to start it? Use /timecamp start.
/timecamp status [date]
Displays timer status and total time tracked today. Optional date accepts today, yesterday, X days ago, Wednesday, Tuesday, etc. or date in YYYY-MM-DD format. Example: /timecamp status yesterday Response: Timer is running for timecamp-integration – time elapsed: 12s On 2016-03-21 you have a total of 1h 33m tracked.
/timecamp add [duration] [note]
Adds time entry. Provide duration in HH:MM format. Example: /timecamp add 1:15 It’s really awesome! Response: Entry has been added.
To see details about commands, you can always type “/timecamp help” on any channel. For commands to synchronize properly, make sure you’re using the same email address in both TimeCamp and Slack. It's easy to learn these simple commands.
